Dr. Miglena Todorova, Social Justice Education, is a speaker at the 2023 Massey Lectures!
Created in 1961 in honour of Vincent Massey, the former Governor General of Canada, the Massey Lecture series is widely regarded as one of the most acclaimed lecture series in Canada hosted and broadcast by Massey College, University of Toronto, House of Anansi Press, and CBC Radio- Canada’s show IDEAS. This year, in celebration of Massey College’s 60th anniversary, the series gives new perspectives on previously published lectures.
Join us in the Upper Library for a family-style lunch, and a conversation between Associate Professor Miglena Todorova, OISE, UT and Tom Howell, producer with CBC Ideas exploring Doris Lessing’s 1985 CBC Massey Lecture The Prisons We Choose to Live Inside. Audience Q&A to follow.
Date: November 13, 2023
Time: 11:45 am – 2:00 pm
This event will be recorded, and footage will be used for special programming on CBC Ideas. For tickets and more details, please visit:
