Rescheduled for June 5: This special speaker series features thought-leaders Hoda Gharib, a PhD candidate, and recent grad Dr. Gordon Katic from our department of social justice education as they explore how journalists, artists, and activists find and maintain hope.

The Indigenous Education Network brings frontline community and social workers to explore what care looks like in Black and Indigenous contexts. OISE Professor Jennifer Wemigwans with Charlene Avalos, Karen Saunders, and Kathy Neegan will dive into how families are constructed and supported through transitions from childhood to adulthood.

Join OISE alum Dr. David Kim, doctoral candidate Dareen Fatimah, and more for an engaging conversation on what it means to return to learning at different stages of life. This interdisciplinary panel will explore barriers, motivations, and supports that shape lifelong learning experiences, while reflecting on how institutions like the University of Toronto can better serve diverse learners across generations.
