The JICS Lab School has had long-standing relationships with many Indigenous communities, collaborating in a reciprocal relationship of learning in the subjects of math, land-based education, and teacher education.

Our hearts are heavy with news of the horrifying attack on a Muslim family in London, Ontario. Four lives and three generations of a family taken and one young boy now orphaned.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the 215 children found at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School.

At JICS, we condemn all acts of hate against Asians.  We are horrified by the senseless murder of eight people, six of them women of Asian descent, in Atlanta, USA, last week.
