2025 will mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Frantz Fanon (25th July 1925 in Martinique), a psychiatrist, philosopher, and revolutionary activist. Frantz Fanon died from leukemia in Bethesda, Maryland on December 6th, 1961, at the age of 36.

Fanon's work has had a significant impact on Post Colonial Theory, Black studies, French Studies, Cultural Studies, Critical Race Theory, and liberation movements around the world.
