Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Who can apply to present at the 2024 GSRC conference?

Submissions are open to all OISE students and recent OISE alumni. Any OISE student or recent alumni may advance a submission to any session listed. Current student applications will be given priority.

2. When and how can I apply?

The proposal submission deadline has passed; the 2024 GSRC is no long accepting conference proposals. Please register for the conference here

3. Can I submit more than one proposal?

Yes; however, you must complete a separate submission for each proposal.

4. When will I hear back about my submission?

Responses will be sent to the email address you provided in the submission form by January 22nd, 2024.

5. What do I do if I have accessibility needs?

We are committed to accessibility and invite conference participants to let us know what we can do to help them get the most out of the event. Please reach out to us at oise.gsrc@utoronto.ca or +1647-556-6784, and we will gladly work with you to accommodate any requests.

6. Is the conference virtual, in-person, or hybrid?

The 2024 GSRC will be an in-person event. However, a limited number of virtual spots will be available to accommodate students outside of the Toronto area and those who are otherwise unable to join us on campus. 

7. Do I have to register to attend?

You must be registered to attend the conference. If you have or plan to submit a proposal, you must be registered by February 15th, 2024, at 23.59. If you do not plan to submit a proposal, you must be registered by March 12th, 2024, at 23:59. Registration opens on December 15th, 2023 here.

8. Who should I contact if I need assistance completing GSRC forms or if I am experiencing technical difficulties?
