Christine Barron

Christie is a Ph.D. student in the Developmental Psychology and Education program at OISE. She completed her Master's at OISE in 2019, and completed her undergrad at the University of Guelph-Humber in 2017. Christie's research interests include literacy assessment and educational measurement among diverse student populations, particularly relating to measurement invariance. She is also interested in investigating the relationship between non-cognitive variables (i.e., self-regulated learning) and various measures of literacy achievement.
