The Public Education Exchange (PEX) and the Centre for Leadership & Diversity at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) invite you to join an online panel discussion about the privatization of public education.

During this brown-bag style event, education leaders from different parts of the country will share their experiences advocating for public education in the face of various privatization efforts. Panelists include Patti Bacchus, Director of the Institute for Public Education, Dr. Wendy Mackey, Associate Professor of Teacher Education, Curriculum and Leadership at St. Francis Xavier University, and Dr. Karen Ragoonaden, Associate Dean of the Okanagan School of Education at UBC.

Audience members will be invited to participate in the discussion. This is an opportunity for people to share their own experiences, ask questions, and learn together.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from Zoom containing information about joining the meeting.
