Joanne Spicer

Joanne Spicer is a PhD candidate in the Community College Leadership Cohort (2019) of the Leadership, Higher and Adult Education program at OISE. Over the last 20 years, Joanne has been a college faculty member, program coordinator, researcher, and global learning facilitator. Joanne has been involved in several international projects and partnerships, including work with the Kenyan Education for Employment Program, where she worked to promote gender equality in post-secondary education. Currently, Joanne serves as the associate dean, Faculty of Social and Community Services at Durham College, Oshawa Ontario. Joanne has called Durham College home for the past 25 years.
