We are excited to host an in-person film screening of Twice Colonized, which will be followed by an enriching question and answer period with Aaju Peter. Twice Colonized follows Aaju Peter’s lifelong fight for the rights of her people as she strives to reclaim her language and identity after a lifetime of whitewashing and forced assimilation. This film is also the winner of numerous awards including 2023 Best Feature Documentary (HotDocs) and 2023 Grand Pix Nordic Documentary (Oslo Pix Film Festival).
