Gabrielle is a PhD candidate in the Language & Literacies Education (LLE) program.

Thesis: Ontario French Immersion Students’ Perspectives: Connecting Learners’ Goals, Sociolinguistic Development, and Ongoing Enrolment (working title)
Research interests
She is interested in French as a second language (FSL) teaching and learning in the Canadian context, and more specifically, French immersion (FI) programs in Ontario with a focus on aspects such as student goals and motivations and the development of sociolinguistic competence of learners.
